Until I did some research on the internet I thought German rape of Russian women was minimal. I did not think this was because German soldiers were nice guys, but because the Nazi government prohibited all sexual contact including rape between the German ubermensch and the Slavic and Jewish untermench.

I have read that the American sergeant who hanged the Nuremberg criminals got his experience hanging American soldiers guilty of rape. Generally speaking American servicemen do not have a reputation for raping enemy women.

Hi folks I made some inquiries on Russian forums to know why Russians still love Stalin inspite of his so many wrong dones. The answer is because he returned back to Russia all territories that were lost by Russia at a Royal family govern time. He returned Kuril islands from Japs, and west Ukraine, Baltic region, part of Finland, and anexed Kaliningrad region that was previously called Schlusselburg. Now when you folks know it. You may understand why ppl of Russia like Putin, cause he returned back to Russia Crimean penisula, that was lost by foolish communist Gorby who let it go away togather with Ukraine when Soviet Union fell appart. Now I wonder what mr Trump has to do make USA great again, first of all you got to deside and find out the time, when was it when USA was great and what do you have to do .

The Russian Revolution was not what Karl Marx predicted. According to Marx the socialist revolution would be the vast majority of the population of an advanced capitalist country overthrowing a small minority of very wealthy capitalists. The new socialist government would have the fun, easy, and popular task of spreading the wealth around.

In Russia there was no wealth to spread around. The Russian Revolution was a coup by a small but well organized and well armed band of political fanatics. If the Provisional Government, under Alexander Kerensky had been allowed to exist for another year Germany would have surrendered earlier with the entry into the First World War of the United States. Russia would have evolved in a democratic direction.

The only justification I can think of for the existence of the Soviet government under Stalin is that another government, and the Soviet government under another leader might not have prepared Russia for the eventual German invasion and might not have been able to repel the invasion. To defeat Germany Russia needed to industrialize. Industrialization is a painful process because one builds for the future rather than for current consumption.

Alexander Kerensky and Nikolai Bukharin were probably too humane to prepare Russia for the German invasion. Leon Trotsky was too much of a Marxian ideologue. He would have kept expecting the German working class to overthrow Hitler.

I agree with Trump's immigration policy, but not with his Wall. I think there are better ways to reduce immigration. I think that illegal immigrants should be deported as soon as they are identified. I want an end to H1B visas and H2B visas. I want more restrictions on legal immigration, especially third world immigration.

I do not have much respect for the Russian political culture. Seems they always revert back to a dictator. Although they complain about not having press, speech, assembly, religious or other personal or political freedoms when locked down by murderous dictators, they'd rather that than the "chaos" of liberal democracy.
